An empty room.
A little red booklet.
Lying alone.
Hello stranger.
Who are you?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Pick me up.
A place to.
Share our memories.
Share our lives.
Share our love, our talent.
Share a drawing.
A sky for me, a tree for you.
Who are you?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Just a little booklet.
Sitting on a shelf.
No confrontation.
Nothing to fear.
Share a scene.
Share a secret.
With who?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Blu-tack in your oldest photo.
And walk away.
Write a verse.
Tell them all.
You're still here.
Scream your heart.
Do your part.
Share your world.
With who?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Write your name.
Share a song.
Share a meaning.
A feeling.
A reason.
Share a wonder.
Share your fear.
With who?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Share your dream.
Your future.
Share your past.
After all.
We all lived through it.
Didn't we?
Who are we?
Anybody.
Everybody.
Nobody.

i look at the empty paper sometimes as a threat...like its expecting something from me that i can no longer give or i'm not good enough nymore...
used to journal~then i figured
who cares? nobody - and looking back on them only makes me feel like i'm more of an outsider to even my own lifes events...
~a witness to ones' life -as u so aptly put it...
can somehow make it more meaningful, less lonely
thank u for sharing this
it resonates -
